"Let's take these son's of bitches out"

Talking about engaging in a war against the TEA party, the Teamsters' president said,"Let's take these son's of bitches out."

He was apparently warming up for Obama who was to speak next. What I'd like to know is whether President Obama publicly renounced such violent, intolerant, uncivil and very over-the-top rhetoric?

I think both the Teamsters' president and President Obama owe the American people an apology.

Big Labor seems to be about using political power gained via political donations funded through coerced dues to steal from free corporations and tax payers. I have no problem w/ organized labor, I think it can counter-balance overly-powerful companies... but the recent track record of Big Labor (yes, that's a silly term just like Big Oil or Big Pharma) is to demand pay and benefits above what the market warrants. Frankly many members of labor don't provide services that are as valuable as they'd like to think they are. By constantly increasing the price of your labor, by not adjusting down when the economy drops off, you end up pricing yourselves out of the market... alternatives become more viable.

Corporations and the executives who run them are profoundly flawed and waste resources all of the time... but that's just an argument for better executive control, not more compensation for workers who provide a service you can get at the same quality some where else for less.
