Senate to hold hearings on Muslim rights

According to the Washington Times, the Senate is going to hold hearings on Muslim rights.

Muslim rights? That Washington Times article points out that:
In 2009, the latest FBi statistics available, anti-Islamic hate crimes accounted for 9.3 percent of the 1,376 religiously motivated hate crimes recorded. That's far less than the 70.1 percent that were anti-Jewish.
If the Senate Democrats were really concerned about religious rights being violated rather than playing purely partisan, politically correct politics, they would be investigating who it is that is violating the rights of Jewish Americans.
