Obama knew of oil spill danger in the Gulf

According to an article in the Wall Street Journal / Fox News:

Less than four months after President Barack Obama took office, his new administration received a forceful warning about the dangers of offshore oil drilling.

The alarm was rung by a federal appeals court in Washington, D.C., which found that the government was unprepared for a major spill at sea, relying on an "irrational" environmental analysis of the risks of offshore drilling.

Yet Obama hypocritically continued to blame George Bush!

The article is worth a read, not so much because it shows the Obama Administration's penchant for blame shifting and hypocrisy but because it emphasizes government's overwhelming need for more money at all costs.

The Obama administration set aside scientific findings, campaign promises, and political ideology in order to keep the cash flowing. The continued expansion of government responsibility necessitates income. The need for income increases the risk to our country and our freedom.
