Asteroid on course to hit earth

First the bad news: There is apparently an asteroid (RQ36) on course to hit earth, an asteroid which could wreak "death and destruction for hundreds of miles in every direction."

Yes, seriously.

The good news: There is only a one-in-a-thousand chance that it will actually hit earth and if it does, it won't happen for 172 years.

Don' t make any firm plans for 2182.

The Obama administration immediately issued a press release apologizing for America's use of magnets and electricity which are scientifically proven to be attracting this world killer towards us. Experts close to the Obama administration expect a new "shock-and-trade" policy to be announced leveeing a steep tax on anyone callous enough to still be using electricity.

Rahm Emanuel, the President's Chief of Staff, was asked "Will this usher in a new Dark Ages?", responded by saying, "What's wrong with the Dark Ages you ##*$&*#& racist?"
