Forecasters in North Carolina are predicting a "once in a generation" cold snap for that region.
As I write this from my home in Minnesota, the actual temperature outside is 15 below zero with a 29 below zero wind-chill factor. According to my computer, that is 17 degrees colder than it is in Nome, Alaska right now.
Its a good thing we have global warming going on or it might get cold in Minnesota!
