Anyone can buy a truck?

In President Obama's speech today in the Vermont Avenue Baptist Church, he said, "I know it's been a hard road we've traveled this year to rescue the economy, but the economy is growing again. The job losses have finally slowed..."

Imagine for a minute that John McCain was in the White House and after a year in office and nearly a trillion dollars spent to "stimulate" the economy, the evidence that his economic programs were working was that the rate of job losses have finally slowed!

If it were John McCain, not a single Democrat in the entire country would buy such nonsense!

Then, to make matters worse, in his speech in Boston Obama attacked Scott Brown's truck add saying, "anyone can buy a truck."

No, Mr. President. With over 10 million people unemployed it is a pretty safe bet that not everyone can buy a truck!

Talk about liberal aloofness and out of touch. Obviously our esteemed Comander-in-Chief is unaware that the once humble "pick-up truck" now equals, if not surpasses, the cost of purchasing cars. But I guess we can hardly expect Obama to understand this when he talked of folks clinging to their guns and religion (and pick-ups?)
