"Our goal has never been peace"

Recently, an official of Fatah (the largest political-military party of the Palestinians) said publicly:
What exactly do we want? It has been said that we are negotiating for peace, but our goal has never been peace. Peace is a means; and the goal is Palestine. I do not negotiate in order to achieve peace. I negotiate for Palestine, in order to achieve a state."
Hamas, Hezbollah, al-Qaeda, the Muslim Brotherhood, the Syrians, the Iranians and others all have the same outlook. This is not rocket science. It is really not hard to understand. It has been this way since Muhammad himself!

For a country like America that talks so much about multi-culturalism, our Democratic politicians seem to understand so little about other cultures.

MostDemocrats seem to have this naive fanstacy that all religions are basically the same but just pursue different paths to God, and that all other cultures are bascially good and the people just want the same things we want.

Most Democrats just can't seem to understand that for millions and millions of Muslims, "peace" means peace on their terms. Peace is a strategy that allows them to re-arm and re-group for the ultimate goal of bringing either submission to Allah or death to "infidels."

For these Muslim groups, infidels are Christians, Jews, Buddhists, Hindus, atheists, agnostics and anyone else who doesn't submit to Allah--and that sometimes even includes other Muslims who don't buy into their brand of Islam!

Anyone who thinks they would be satisfied with Israel, is deluded.

The longer it takes America and the West to undestand this, the stronger Islam will become and, ultimately, more and more people will die.

Hello I would like to invite you to visit our website :

IKhwanweb is the Muslim Brotherhood"s only official English web site. The Main office is located in London, although Ikhwanweb has correspondents in most countries. Our staff is exclusively made of volunteers and stretched over the five continents.
The Muslim Brotherhood opinions and views can be found under the sections of MB statements and MB opinions, in addition to the Editorial Message.
Items posted under "other views" are usually different from these of the Muslim Brotherhood.
Ikhwanweb does not censor any articles or comments but has the right only to remove any inappropriate words that defy public taste
Ikhwanweb is not a news website, although we report news that matter to the Muslim Brotherhood"s cause. Our main misson is to present the Muslim Brotherhood vision right from the source and rebut misonceptions about the movement in western societies. We value debate on the issues and we welcome constructive criticism.
