Obama, laughing all the way

President Obama:

was pressed by Steve Kroft on "60 Minutes" for at times laughing or smiling while discussing the global economic crisis.

"You're sitting here. And you're laughing. You are laughing about some of these problems," Kroft told the president. "Are people going to look at this and say, 'I mean, he's sitting there just making jokes about money?' How do you deal with -- I mean: explain ... Are you punch-drunk?" (Fox).

Our President offends our friends, appeases our enemies, mocks the disabled, breaks his promises, appoints tax cheats to his cabinet, spends money like a drunken sailor, and laughs at the economic crisis--and he's only been in office for a couple months!

Can a President be impeached for simply not being up to the job?

I find it interesting, to say the least, that a Congresswoman like Maxine Waters would say:
"Obviously, there appears to be some sort of an agreement that they would protect AIG from having to give those bonuses. I don't know who said what and when," she added. "Chris Dodd said he wrote the language but that he was pressured practically by Treasury. Maybe the president is not up to speed on what is going on, but I think it is going to have to be clarified." (
Waters is definitely not a Conservative. For her to say "Maybe the president is not up to speed.." does not look good for the administration's base of support.

Sometimes I wonder if in retrospect we'll look back and see exactly what you are saying. A president that was zealous for the position, but when a crisis struck, was unable to calm the storm that is Washington and the US at large. He's doing everything he can in the press, but administratively it seems like he isn't the one in control.
