Blagojevich and Burris

You remember the recent controversy over Democratic Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich's "pay-to-play" scandal. He named Democrat Roland Burris to the Senate Seat vacated by Barack Obama.

Roland Burris had said that he never talked to anyone connected to Blago about the Senate appointment. It turns out that he appears to have been lying. Now that he is in the Senate, he admits that Blago's brother asked him for campaign contributions but Burris says he never contributed.

My questions is this, If we couldn't trust Burris when he says he never had any contact with anyone connected to Blago, how can we trust him when he says he never gave any money?

If he doesn't resign, he needs to be removed from office.
