Treasury nominee didn't pay taxes

Barack Obama is supporting Tim Geithner as his nominee for the Treasury Department, which oversees the IRS. The problem is that Geithner doesn't pay his taxes. In fact, he even accepted reimbursment from the IMF for taxes he consistently did not pay.

Democrats, of course, are saying it was all just an honest mistake--even though Geithner had to sign a statement "At the end of the tax allowance" forms which read, “I hereby certify that all the information contained herein is true to the best of my knowledge and belief and that I will pay the taxes for which I have received tax allowance payments from the Fund.”

We'll see if "the most ethical Congress in history" will have the integrity to reject this nominee.
