Thank you Mr. President

I've had differences with President Bush. Fore example, I've never understood why he thought he had to invade Iraq rather than just use the "shock and awe" to take out Saddam Hussein's palaces, military and suspected WMD sites. I don't think he was read for Hurricane Katrina, and I think he should have been. And I think his bailout may go down in history as one of the most misguided, if not one of the most monumentally stupid governmental actions in history.

But you have to give him credit for at least one thing: He has kept us safe since 9/11 2001. This is a link to a LONG list of terrorist attempts on our country which the Bush administration thwarted (and these are just the ones we know about. There are undoubtedly others which we will never know about due to security concerns).

For this, President Bush deserves the thanks of every single patriotic American.

Thank you, Mr. President!
