"We're gonna have an international crisis"

At a Democratic fundraiser Sunday night, Joe Biden said,

"Mark my words…It will not be six months before the world tests Barack Obama like they did John Kennedy. The world is looking. We're about to elect a brilliant 47-year-old senator president of the United States of America.

Remember I said it standing here if you don't remember anything else I said. Watch, we're gonna have an international crisis, a generated crisis, to test the mettle of this guy" (ABC News).

Some readers may recall that for over a year, Iran poked their finger I America’s eye by holding our embassy personnel hostage (beating and publicly humiliating them) while the impotent, weak Jimmy Carter sat by and “negotiated”!

When Ronald Reagan was elected president, the Iranians immediately…and I mean immediately…let all the hostages go. They knew Ronald Reagan wouldn’t take it and that knowledge alone was enough.

We are much, much less likely to get into an international crisis with John McCain at the helm than we are with Barack Obama because this is one time Biden is right. They will test Obama.
