SNL, Chevy Chase and Sarah Palin

In a recent interview on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe”, comedian Chevy Chase commented on Tina Fey’s Saturday Night Live parody of Sarah Palin saying “I wanted her to decimate this woman.” Chase went on to say, “It’s unbelievable to me that this woman is actually running for Vice President.”

What exactly is so unbelievable, Chevy? That a state governor would run for Vice President? After all, Bill Clinton was a state governor. Or is it that Sarah Palin has no foreign policy experience? But Barack Obama doesn’t have a whole lot of foreign policy experience either and he’s running for President, not Vice President!

Sarah Palin’s relative lack of experience may be reason for the Left to express concern, but it is hardly justification for a hateful, practically frothing-at-the-mouth desire to see Sarah Palin personally “decimated.”

Unfortunately, Chevy Chase is not an isolated case. He is not even the worst case. Other prominent Leftists have made vicious personal attacks on Sarah Palin’s motherhood and even her womanhood!

Clearly something other than lack of experience is at issue here. I suspect that the real underlying issue is that Sarah Palin represents traditional Judeo-Christian family values, as opposed to the secular, bigoted anti-Christian, drug and sex-obsessed party culture of Hollywood and of so many on the far Left.

Sarah Palin is a slap in the face of everything the far Left stands for, and the vomiting out of their unbridled, irrational hatred toward Sarah Palin is really just an expression of what they think of traditional American values and of traditional America---and if you hold to traditional American values, it is an expression of what they think of you, too.

And if Barack Obama is elected president, these are the people to whom he will be listening.

I think we're seeing the real agenda of many on the left, they are not pro-women... they are simply for women who further their ideology.

It's been pretty clear for a long time that the left isn't actually interested in solving problems that exist for their special interest groups; they just want to use them as a vehicle to power. Look at the outright sexism and hatred they had for Hillary when she was running against Obama. They slimed her, tried her like garbage, and said outright misogynistic things. The crazy part is that she's almost as loony left as Obama is! The left ridiculed her because she was an obstacle for their anointed one.

Clearly, the leftists are the true home of hatred, divisiveness, racism, and sexism in the modern world. Some day their voters who are actually "moderate" in their beliefs will wake up and realize that they're being used.

So, come to find out that Chevy wasn't really "acting" in that movie The 3 Amigos.

There really is not actual basis for their hatred of her, and the thing that is more frustrating is that the media obviously agrees and won't call anyone on it. Won't actually push them into a wall and a corner, because I am sure that if Chevy was asked the questions you just asked he wouldn't have a clue how to answer.
