Obama challenges McCain's patriotism

In a speech to the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers Barack Obama challenged John McCain's patriotism saying, "So, when American workers hear John McCain talking about putting 'Country First...it’s fair to ask –- which country?" (ABC News Political Punch).

So a man who has never served a single day in the military in his life, challenges the patriotism of a man who endured years of torture for his country! Is this the kind of "change" Obama wants to bring to Washington?

Wow. That's the most disgusting thing I have ever heard. Yeah, John McCain, a man who has been commended on all sides of the political spectrum as an American Hero, is being questioned for his patriotism.

I don't know which is worse, the person who asked the question or the person who buys into it.

I'm not sure this is a jab at McCain's patriotism as much as it is Obama's (and the left's) consistent use of class warfare. They build their power base by pitting Americans against each other. Obama paints McCain as the guy fighting for the "other" America... the rich America that is out of touch w/ real people's problems. Instead of joining w/ John McCain and addressing people together, addressing them jointly, Obama slanders McCain behind his back in an attempt to manipulate and energize his voting base.

Your characterization of Obama as a same-as-always Chicago politician, product of the political machine... is dead on. Same shtick, new guy.
