Lies about Sarah Palin

According to FactCheck.org Sarah Palin

-- "did not cut funding for special needs education in Alaska by 62 percent."

-- did not demand that books be banned from the local library

-- was never a member of the Alaska Independence Party

-- never endorsed Pat Buchanan for President

-- did not push the teaching of creationism in the public schools

In addition, the picture being circulated of her in a very tight leather mini-skirt is also a phony. Its her head photoshopped to another person's body.

While some of these things are just misrepresented, others are entirely fabricated. For example, the list of books Sarah Palin supposedly censored contains books that had not even been published at the time! And rather than cutting the special needs budget, as CNN's Soledad O'Brien claimed, Palin actually tripled the special needs budget!

Sounds like some in the Left's nut-roots are scared to death of Sarah Palin and are getting desperate! Anyone can be misled, but beware of people who make up lies to promote their agenda.

Looks like the McCain campaign should make their own website fighting the smears. This is ridiculous.
