Homosexuals and tolerance

A lesbian in Georgia went to a licenced counsellor seeking help on resolving a same-sex relationship problem. The counsellor happened to be a Christian whose religious convictions are opposed to homosexual behavior.

Rather than trying to convince the client that sexual relations with someone of the same sex is sin, the counsellor simply referred the client to another counsellor who was more sympathetic to same-sex relationships.

The lesbian returned the good will by filing a complaint against the Christian counsellor which resulted in the termination of the counsellor's employment (Alliance Defense Fund).

It seems that homosexuals who demand tolerance often need to practice what they preach.
