Janice Rogers Brown for Vice President?

Has John McCain considered Justice Janice Rogers Brown as a vice president possibility? As a Christian who is politically conservative, Ms. Brown may reach right wing Republicans who, like me, are not very excited about John McCain.

While Judge Brown sounds like a very capable VP for the McCain ticket, geographically, if that is still important in politics, the team would not be balanced.

All I know is he better pick someone with personality, if he keeps giving lackluster speeches like the one Tuesday night. Even the National Review and Fox News ridiculed it.

Brent, I think we aggree on something :)

My wife said John McCain's speech reminded her of an episode of the Little Rascals with one of them "reading" a speech, and pausing occasionally to flash a big forced smile.

It is indeed sad that many in our country would judge a candidate based on how good a speech he can give rather than the extremely important issues.

St. Lee, maybe McCain is bringing people together after all. :-)

Jazzycat, I'm sure you think I'm a sad person. But I have listened to what McCain has to say about the issues and thought them through, thank you. And I wanted to listen to his speech Tuesday to hear what he had to say. But after a few minutes it became clear the substance was lacking and the delivery was even worse. And effective public speaking is important for any leader, wouldn't you agree?

I do agree, Brent. The ability to communicate with your constituency appropriately, even inspirationally, is essential to the Presidency.
