Ramzi Yousef a Christian?

Ramzi Yousef, the mastermind of the first attack on the World Trade Center in 1993, claims to have converted from Islam to Christianity. When asked about this, the warden of the supermax prision in which Yousef resides said that Yousef must be playing games with someone (Jihad Watch).

Yousef could be playing games: Muslims are permitted to lie if it advances Islam. I can understand how a politician, for example, might claim to be Christian to get elected and to advance Islam from within, but I fail to see how claiming to be a Christian would help Yousef, who is serving a life sentance, would advance Islam in any way. I certainly hope the report is true.

If true this is an answer to some of my prayers.

As one who's passionate about serving God and my country, I can't help speculating that "but for the grace of God there go I." What would I be like had I been born and indoctrinated in a place like Saudi Arabia or Gaza?

Another thought. If all the prayers for soldiers were answered would the war on terrorism end? What if God answered all the prayers for terrorists?
