Thousands in Baltimore and Washington DC are without power, the DC airports are closed, and last, but not least, hearings on global warming scheduled on Capitol Hill for today have been cancelled--all because of snow and ice!
All of this says nothing one way or the other about global warming theories, but you've got to love the irony.

Another irony is because of all the flakes falling in D.C., at least for one day, there are fewer flakes beneath the Capitol dome:-)
