AIDS prevention

Last year alone over 2 million people died from AIDS. The best prevention against AIDS would be to follow principles spelled out in the Bible: No sex outside of marriage and no homosexual sex. Since so many people seem determined to rebel against these biblical principles, there appears to be another effective preventative measure against AIDS. Ironically, it is also a practice that appears in the Bible--circumcision.

A study published recently in the journal, Lancet tracked over 7,000 circumcised and uncircumcised men in Kenya and Uganda and determined that circumcision can reduce men's chance of contracting AIDS by 60% (APNews). This actually confirms an earlier story reported by Recliner Commentaries in July 2005.
