A victory for free speech
In Australia, two pastors, Daniel Scott and Daniel Nalliah, were convicted of hate speech simply for teaching about Islam (See Recliner Commentaries, October 19). In a victory for freedom of speech in Australia, their conviction has just been overturned! Read about it at Dhimmi Watch.

Good! This was a scary case... taking hate speech laws way too far.
I am glad to see earlier verdict by the kangaroo court was reversed. I was beginning to be concerned that radical moslem winds were beginning to pollute the continent's atmosphere.
Unfortunately we are far from in the clear on this issue. I've just posted an update on the whole stinking mess here They appear in court again this month so keep them in prayer and check out what they're trying to sneak into the US along the same lines!
By the way, excellent site and I'm planning on blogrolling you.
Dee, thank you for the update and for adding my blog. I've added your blog, "Righteous Indignation" to my blogroll as well.
