Iran, Hezbollah, Lebanon and ceasefire
The Lebanese government was scheduled to meet today to discuss plans to move their army into Southern Lebanon in accordance with the U.N. ceasefire. Suddenly, without explanation, the meeting was called off. According to DEBKAfile, the meeting was cancelled because Hezbollah, taking orders from Iran, announced that they would not allow Lebanese forces to be deployed in Southern Lebanon as previously agreed (DEBKAfile).
